Notice anything different about us? We are rebranded! Coming to you from a brand new refreshed website!
Why would we do that? Good question. We will explain the great reasons we rebranded and redesigned our website and why you should too.
- Get with the modern times.
Re-banding every few years keeps your audience coming back to take another look! Also, this gives you a chance to modernize your logo and try out new design trends.
- Responsive Design for all devices.
There are so many devices out there – phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and even watches! Web design needs to account for the visitor coming to the website from any device with various apps/browsers. This is done by creating “responsive” design, meaning it can conform to any screens size. Google actually gives higher search rankings to responsive websites.
- Getting Secure – http vs. https.
When you are on-line and you see the little padlock up in the URL address bar, then that means you are on a secure website using the https protocol. If you are on a site using http, this means that there is not a security certificate in place on this site. Google also recently gives higher search rankings to secure websites. Because of this change, it is becoming a best practice to use https.
- Weaver Xtreme Plus!
FrontDesk, Inc. licenses Weaver Xtreme Plus theme by customizing it for many of our websites. A custom web design starts with a mock up and this theme allows us to develop the mockup to a working web experience.
- Revive the blog.
Did you launch your website with a blog and do not post to it very much? Or wish you posted more? We did. But that doesn’t mean we need to give up! And you do not either… Take this post for example – you can write a post “Why these 5 things about blank are blank” relating to your business and put it out there to get new visitors to your site. Another thing you could do is search Pinterest for “Blogging Calendars” and try to make a plan and a commitment to do so. What does this do for you? Gives your site relative content in a content hungry world that brings your search rankings higher. The search engine bots crawl your site more often when you publish fresh blogs and put your links in the search results. AND it gives you something to share on social media – go post your new blog post on your Facebook page, or change your Instagram link, and make a post about it to promote your website. This educates your customers about your brand and keeps them on your site longer than the average visitor and hopefully interact by leaving a comment or sharing your post. One more tip – be sure to make a “Call-To-Action” or as we say in the biz, “CTA”. Just like I am about to do right here below this right now..
